ILLU 415 project 3- animal cliches! We were randomly assigned an animal cliche to illustrate, and the one I got was “a wolf in sheep’s clothing.” This was super fun to play with, and I am happy with the end result! I chose to lean into the idea of the disguise of a wolf as a sheep, and placed a cute, fluffy sheep into a dark and malicious environment- a hunting trophy room. I made each of the trophies sheep heads, and the rug he is standing on a sheep too, to emphasize the fact that this sheep is really not a sheep. I also included the shadow of the chair as a normal shadow to really emphasize the sheep’s shadow that reveals its true identity- a wolf. I added the bloody footprints and wool tufts last minute, just to add a little more violence to show the nature of a wolf. Really happy with how this one turned out!!
